Record
To start recording on your Apple Watch, press the big red button. A smaller red stop button and wave form will appear while recording. You can also start a recording by tapping on the Complication
Stop
To stop the recording, press the red button again.
Pause
A downward swipe will pause a recording. Be careful not to start the swipe near the top of the screen - edge based gestures are reserved for system actions (start the swipe about 1/3 of the way down the screen).
Recent recordings
Your Apple Watch will store the 12 most recent recordings made on the device. To access the Recents View on your Apple Watch, swipe the Record face to the left. The 12 most recent Apple Watch recordings are arranged in a circle around the green play button. You can scroll through the recent recordings using the Digital Crown.
Please note that recordings made on an iPhone and other devices are not synced to the Apple Watch.
Send to iPhone
Recordings made on your Apple Watch should automatically transfer to your iPhone over Bluetooth. If this fails or if you need to transfer a recording again, you can manually send an individual recording from your Apple Watch to your iPhone. From the Recents view on the Apple Watch, use the Digital Crown to select the recording you wish to send then Force Press on the screen to display the menu. Press the 'Send to iPhone' button. This will send the recording to your iPhone again.
Please note, recordings can take some time to transfer over Bluetooth, especially longer recordings.
